Owner's Representative

When an owner lacks in-house construction expertise, or simply needs a trusted advocate to protect their interests, Column Management steps in as Owner’s Representative. We act entirely on your behalf, managing the architect, engineers, and general contractor so that your project goals, budget, and schedule are never compromised.

This service is particularly valuable for institutional clients, non-profits, municipalities, and other organizations that undertake major construction infrequently and need seasoned eyes on every decision.

Construction Management

Column Management’s construction management services are designed to protect the owner’s investment at every stage. As your CM, we join the project during design, help shape the budget, manage the bidding process, and oversee construction, always acting as your advocate.

Our Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) model is particularly well-suited for educational and institutional projects where budget certainty, schedule predictability, and community accountability are paramount. We provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and take on the financial risk of cost overruns, aligning our goals directly with yours.

General Contracting

As your general contractor, Column Management assumes full responsibility for the construction of your project. We manage all subcontractors, coordinate scheduling, enforce quality standards, and serve as your single point of accountability from groundbreaking through substantial completion and final closeout.
